How Our Free Move Works

After we are under contract, the moving company will call you directly to get things going.

Moving day! The professional moving team will get to work and complete your move efficiently.

Your move will be scheduled. No worries, you can reschedule if necessary.

We will pay the moving company directly. You will only be responsible for any additional fees that you and the moving company agree to prior to the move (such as insurance, etc…)

You pack your belongings in boxes or we can refer you to a packing service company.

You are ready to go! Let us know how the move went via our quick survey we will send to you.
FAQ’s about your move.
When do I need to move out of my house?
The property must be clear of all personal belongings and/or debris at least 1 day prior to closing. We will verify the condition of the property before closing. If the property is not clear of personal belongings and/or debris, your closing may be delayed and/or a fee for removal will charged.
What do I need to leave in my house when I move?
You need to leave all keys, remove controls, built-in appliances and any other items that belong with the house. Built-in appliances include, but are not limited to the range/oven, built-in refrigerator, built-in microwave, dishwasher, ice machine, trash compactor, central vacuum system and hoses, ceiling fans, light fixtures and built-in speakers.
What appliances can I take when I move?
Washer, Dryer and Refrigerator (free standing). In some situations, we may request you to include your refrigerator in our contract.
What if I have additional square footage and weight?
Additional square footage, weight and other services may be purchased and selected by the customer directly from the moving company.
Additional Services
Certain services are available for purchase directly from the moving company and are not included in the free move. These additional services include packing, packing materials (packing boxes, tape, etc…), furniture disassembly/assembly, appliance disconnect/reconnect, live plant moving, hazardous materials moving, moving heavy or oversize items (pianos, safes, wine storage, etc…) and additional personal property insurance.
